A Signature Detail
Bound buttonholes; they are the signature design detail of mine that consistently garners appreciative murmurs from those in the know. Anyone who has ever sewn one agrees that they are very difficult to get right, but also very satisfying when you do. It is something you just don’t see very often anymore, but something I’ll never stop falling in love with. I’m excited to say that they will be featured on our new spring release, the Bluff Pocket Blazer, which Ken caught photos of me sampling this weekend. Although Natalie Gerber’s beautiful prairie rose print will slightly obscure this delicate feature, the smoothness when slipping a hand-pressed covered button through will remain.
